Amsterdam has proved himself at every competition and has begun to have a significant impact on the world stage.

2013 Amsterdam joined my team and began his first season eventing. With no previous dressage or cross-country experience he quickly impressed, within a few months he won his way to Novice and went on to place 2nd in a highly competitive UK Novice Regional final. He is now an impressive 3Star international competitor.

2016 – Delighted Amsterdam selected for the first competition in the EventRidersMasters series -ERM 3* at Chatsworth Estate where he jumped double clear and was the best of the kiwis. He won 12 ERM points in a highly competitive competition with 40 of the worlds best, give or take a few.

2015 Amsterdam made the step to Advance and 3Star with ease. He tackled the influential Luhmuhlen International cross-country and show-jumping tracks with pizzazz jumping double clear for 10th place and will now work towards CCI3* and Team NZ selection.

2014 Amsterdam consolidated on his first year training and began his two Star qualification. Consistently he won or placed in the top ten dressage, show jumped clear and travelled confidently across the country. Time penalties prevented numerous wins – all part of the plan to consolidate his knowledge for the bigger picture.

At Hartpury International Amsterdam made a difficult CCI 2* track feel easy despite being held on course for 30 minutes. He was one of only a small number of horses to complete the course before influential jumps were removed, and he impressed as one of only a few horses to show jump clear.
