It was an exciting day in July 2013 when I purchased Freddie as a green six year old with no competition experience, which has proved to be no problem to this immensely talented horse. I thoroughly enjoyed Freddie’s first outing, which happened to be to NZ High Performance squad training where Luis Alveres Cervera, NZHP Rio Coach and former Show-jumping and Eventing Olympian, on watching Freddie jump for the first time immediately wanted to buy him. My resistance was met with “Name your price..!”

2013 towards the end of the season I took Freddy to a few BE100 events. His enthusiasm for the task made everyday a challenge, and a pleasure.
2014 the challenge was to keep the handbrake on this powerful, talented horse as he built his base of knowledge for the future. A 1st at Nunny International, 2nd at Somerford Park, and a decisive 1st at Smiths Lawn in a highly competitive class gave spectators a glimpse of the future.
2015 Freddy’s step to CCI2* was spectacular. 1st Barbury International, 1st Millstreet Drishane Castle International, 3rd Camphire International
